Although BMW Parts Factory is a new website as of December 2019, owners Zach and Jake have been in the BMW parts business for nearly 7 years.
January 2013 – Autobahn German Parts
It all began out of a passion for BMW and providing customers with high-quality OE, OEM, and Genuine parts to keep their BMW’s on the road for decades to come. Zach and Jake purchased a declining online BMW parts business – Autobahn German Parts – in January 2013. Offering a catalog of over 1,000 BMW parts, Zach and Jake quickly scaled the business despite the antiquated website design.
May 2014 – BimmerHQ
Autobahn German Parts re-branded and launched on a newly designed website, BimmerHQ.
May 2017 – Exit Parts Industry
Autobahn German Parts/BimmerHQ had its successes and provided customers with exceptional service and quality OEM, aftermarket, and Genuine BMW parts. However, Zach and Jake understood the BMW parts catalog was outdated and lacking parts compared to the big players. Determined to re-focus on their love and passion for BMW’s, BimmerHQ was officially closed in May 2017.
June 2017 – BMW N54 Tuners & BMW Tuning
Zach and Jake own three N54 powered BMW’s – a 2007 335i, 2008 135i, and 2008 535i. Fueled by their love for the N54 engine they launched BMWN54Tuners.com in June 2017. It was an opportunity to focus on providing valuable content to other passionate N54 owners looking to take their BMW to the next level. N54 tuners was a success and readers frequently requested content for other BMW engines. As such, 2019 saw the launch of BMWTuning.Co with content focused on the BMW N52, N55, B58, S55, M54, and N63 engines, just to name a few.
December 2018 – BMWsparkplugs.com
Operating BMW blogs led Zach and Jake to realize how demanding turbo BMW’s can be. Spark plugs and ignition coils are to BMW engines as kids are to candy. Tuned and modified BMW engines suck through plugs and coils; they can also be a bit picky. BMW Spark Plugs was launched to provide OEM and upgraded spark plug and ignition coil options to BMW enthusiasts.
